organic certification

Organic certification confirms that certified companies selling organic products conform with EU regulations. Criteria include:

  • consistent separation of conventional and organic produce during delivery, storage and preparation
  • goods receipt inspection
  • labeling of organic products (e.g. on the menu) 

State accredited audit organizations undertake annual inspections to check conformity.
