Fairtrade is a global movement to establish better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in developing countries across the world.
Products with the FAIRTRADE Mark must meet international Fairtrade standards set by the international certification body Fairtrade International. These standards are agreed through research and consultation with members of the Fairtrade scheme, including farmers and workers themselves, traders, NGOs, academic institutions and labelling organisations such as the Fairtrade Foundation.
